Question 1

What is Wattlebird?

Accepted Answer

Wattlebird is a parent coaching app for families of neurodivergent children. It helps you understand why your child responds the way they do, gives you evidence-informed strategies grounded in modern ABA and Skills-Based Treatment (PFA-SBT), and tracks what is actually changing over time.

Question 2

Is Wattlebird therapy?

Accepted Answer

No. Wattlebird is psychoeducation and parent coaching, not therapy, diagnosis or treatment. It never replaces your psychologist, OT, speech pathologist or behaviour practitioner, it helps you get more from working with them.

Question 3

Where does the AI advice come from?

Accepted Answer

The AI only applies Wattlebird's reviewed clinical knowledge base, built on Practical Functional Assessment and Skills-Based Treatment research. It does not invent strategies or pull advice from the open internet, and anything that sounds like crisis or safety risk is redirected to professional support.

Question 4

Who can see my data?

Accepted Answer

Only your family account (and a co-parent you invite). Data is stored securely with row-level protection, and you can export or delete everything at any time. See the Privacy & Security policy in your Profile.
